Answer: There is a bug in the ROM of the T5 when transferring large (greater than 2 mb) files or files that have many records. Palm has been alerted to this bug in the device. While waiting for a fix, we describe a proposed workaround in this article.
First connect your T5 to your PC or Mac with the USB cable, and turn on Drive Mode on the T5.
For Windows PC users only:
You will need to download an update to the Mobipocket desktop file transfer utility. Click here to download sendbookmp.exe and save this file in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Mobipocket Shared folder (overwrite previous file).
Then double-click on your ebook .prc file. Check "Send to handheld or storage" and select from the list the drive letter of the T5 INTERNAL drive as it appears in Windows Explorer. Then click OK.
For Mac users: create a folder named "ebooks" in the INTERNAL drive, then copy and paste your Mobipocket ebook .prc files into this folder.
Disconnect the T5 safely. Your ebook files will appear in the Mobipocket Reader Library.
N.B.: if you tried to install large ebook files before reading this FAQ, you may need to clear the Hotsync Install Tool folder C:\Program Files\Palm\"Hotsync Profile"\Install for your Hotsync profile, as the large files could be continuing to block the Hotsync. You can also open the Install Tool box, by double-clicking on the Instapp.exe file in the C:\Program Files\Palm folder on your PC.

Tools > Internet Options > Security > Trusted sites > Sites > Un-checkmark Require server verification... box > Type in www.handheldmed.com into Add this Web site to this zone: box and click on the Add button > OK > Apply > OK
- Download Microsoft Internet Explorer from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx. Click Download Now > Internet Explorer > Download > Save > Save to desktop.
- Verify that your anti-virus security settings are not set to high.
- Contact your Internet provider for more options.
